   Goju Ryu is my favourite style as I have studied others such as Shotokan, Wing Chun and Kuen Nung. The gradings are different now as there seems so many belts up until black. In the 70’s when I studied there was only four belts to black – white, yellow, green brown then black. The intensity of the training then was very high and I’m not sure that today’s training is as intense and as disciplined. I have watched many clips on here of black belts in training and to me many are very sloppy.
