in their style. Most pple who got a taste or two on some martial art thing tend to criticize that TKD have all showy but useless fighting style. But that maybe partly right, but once you get a proper instructor, you can change a little bit of your preconception about TKD.

In the first part of this video, this teaching style has nothing new in regular TKD sparring class.
You can see so many skillful and trained masters in the field who are teaching effective TKD sparring. And they take much importance in keeping the balance in your every movement. and also emphasize on uselessness of lavishing high side kicks and round kicks. Most of the instructors all know better than doing some old style two-foot fencing. Also they always pursue the accuracy and power.

so many tkd dojangs are watered down. I’ve not found one that I fully trust since the last one closed shop. What I would give to have someone like this man in my area!!!

@expertkbs I new you were using hapkido because i know the differences between hapkido and taekwondo and you are wearing a hapkido gi and hapkido uses way more grappling than taekwondo it uses way more moves period.

No, not ll striking arts are not similiar. Old Tai Chi is viscious and lethal, as is Pakua, and not similar to TKD. They use the more powerful palm stike much more often and they are not a sport in any way. As Tai Chi says, when he moves in, I move in and attack dim muk points, and never back up.
